Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) is accepting applications for nominations to the U.S. military
service academies. Applications for the 2010 academic year will be accepted for the Military Academy at
West Point, Naval Academy at Annapolis, Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, and the Merchant Marine
Academy at Kings Point.
Candidates residing in Ohio’s 5th Congressional District who are interested in seeking a nomination to
one of the service academies must meet basic requirements, including: must be at least 17 by July 1 of
year of admission; must be a U.S. citizen; must be unmarried; cannot be pregnant or have legal
obligation to support a child or other dependents.
