Puppet Pals Monday in BG
Puppet Pals Tutoring resumes on Monday at the Wood County District Public Library, 251 N. Main St.
The joint project between the Children’s Place and the Martha Gesling Reading Center pairs trained tutors
from Bowling Green State University with first-, second-, third- and fourth-grade students. The tutors
assist with homework, reading and language skills.
The free half-hour tutoring sessions are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8 and Thursday
afternoons from 4 to 6 p.m.
Food distribution set at Wayne
WAYNE – The Wayne area food distribution will be Thursday at the Wayne Fire Hall. The distribution will
be form 9 to 10 a.m.
The distribution is for anyone in the 43466 Zip Code.
Block Watch set at Weston
WESTON – A meeting of Weston Block Watch will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. The group will meet at the
Weston Township Fire Department.
BG plans GIS
manhole survey
The City of Bowling Green has contracted with GIS Landmark to identify the locations of sewer manholes
for the City’s Geographical Information System.
Residents should be aware that GIS Landmark employees will be working around city sewers and should
remain within the city right-of-way. Those conducting the inventory will carry equipment that includes a
large antenna and measuring rods.
Crews are currently working in all wards of the city.
All employees carry photo identification.
