Township tradition continues

CUSTAR – Members of four churches will unite on Sunday as a long-standing tradition returns with the
114th Liberty Township Sunday School Convention and community worship.
The service will focus primarily on the community worship aspect; however the original
"convention" name remains.
The congregations will gather on Sunday at 10 a.m. at Custar United Methodist Church 9096 Custar Road.

The three other congregations, which all cancel their regular services on Sunday to join together are
Philippian Church and South Liberty Church, both on Bays Road, along with Rudolph Christian Church on
Mermill Road.
All the churches and people in Liberty Township and the surrounding areas are invited and encouraged to
attend.
The morning message will be provided by the gospel trio Jericho Road. Pastor Garry Yarborough will
preside.
A carry-in lunch will follow the service at approximately 11:30 am. Drinks and table service will be
provided.
The group is always ready to welcome another church into the rotation as well as any and all individuals
and families who would like to attend.
