Sports Mailbag: To the Editor: Parent praises BG youth baseball coaches

0

I am a parent of a young boy who has just completed his first year of tee-ball. First I would like to
encourage parents to get their kids involved in the Bowling Green Baseball program. The wonderful
coaches who volunteer their time are truly remarkable.
It became very clear to me from our first practice through our last game. It was all about fun and
learning the fundamentals of the game. The effort that these men put into teaching the kids the basics
was a pleasure to see. Not only did they teach them, but each coach would see what areas a child needs a
little more help in and they would focus on that while making it fun at the same time. It was amazing
watching the kids grow from not really knowing the game to becoming a great team.
With all this being said, I would publicly like to say thank you to head coach Chris Cox and assistant
coaches Matt Frye, Brady Gaskins and Adam Lorenzen. You men are the best! You will always hold a special
place in my son’s life and memory as his first coaches.
1. 2. 3. Go Yankees!
