BG boards meet Saturday
The Bowling Green Planning Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet Saturday at 8 .m. at
Wintergarden Lodge, located in Wintergarden Park.
The meeting is a training seminar for the members. No formal action will be taken.
OPWC meeting rescheduled
Wood County Engineer Ray Huber has rescheduled a meeting of the District 5 Ohio Public Works Commission
(OPWC) Sub-Committee. The meeting will be held in the county commissioner’s hearing room on Tuesday at 3
p.m.
The purpose of this meeting will be to evaluate and rate the Round 24 Applications for projects eligible
for State Capital Improvement Projects and Local Transport Improvement Projects.
Brown talks about ‘State of the County’
NORTH BALTIMORE – Wood County Commissioner Tim Brown will be the guest speaker at the North Baltimore
Lions Club dinner meeting on Tuesday.
Brown will give the group a "State of the County" update and take questions.
Liberty Township seniors meet
RUDOLPH – The Liberty Township Senior Citizens will meet Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the Civic Center. Dick
Bostdorff will be the guest speaker. Hostesses will be Alice Brim and Leanna Adler.
McDonald’s supports immunizations
The McDonald’s restaurants of Northwest Ohio/Southeast Michigan are once again supporting the local
community in bringing awareness to the importance of childhood immunizations.
When area residents take their children to local health departments for immunizations, each child will
receive a special Ronald McDonald bandage and a "McDonald’s Is Proud of You for Being
Immunized" certificate. The certificate is good for one free McDonald’s hamburger.
