Over the past three weeks seven laptop computers have been stolen from residence halls at Bowling Green
State University. The most recent theft occurred Oct. 28 when a computer was taken from an unlocked room
in Kreischer/Batchelder.
The majority of the other thefts were also from unlocked rooms in residence halls.
The suspect in the most recent theft is a black male, 6 feet tall, muscular build, short hair, wearing a
red and white plaid long, sleeve shirt and baggy denim jeans. He was carrying a red drawstring backpack
with unknown red lettering.
Two additional suspects have been caught on tape by surveillance cameras, BGSU officials said.

The Wood County Crime Stopper program offers a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to
an arrest and/or conviction of individuals who have committed a crime in Wood County. The Crime Stopper
program has agreed to offer a reward for information leading to an arrest in the laptop thefts.
