In a conference known for producing quarterbacks, two of the best in recent history will be displaying
their wares Saturday afternoon at Perry Stadium.
Bowling Green, with Tyler Sheehan behind center, faces Central Michigan, with Dan LeFevour calling
signals. Both are seniors.
The Mid-American Conference game kicks off at noon and will be televised on ESPN Plus and ESPN Game Plan.

Sheehan is having a record-setting senior year, including throwing for a school-record 505 yards in a win
over Kent State earlier this month. In seven games, Sheehan has thrown for 2,336 yards with 14
touchdowns and four interceptions for the Falcons, 3-4 overall and 2-1 in the MAC.
Meanwhile, the highly-regarded LeFevour, who was the MAC offensive player of the year as a sophomore, is
one of 10 finalists for the Unitas Golden Arm Award, presented annually to the nation’s top senior
quarterback. The Chippewas are 6-1 overall and 4-0 in the MAC.
This season, he has thrown for 1,549 yards and 14 scores with four interceptions. In addition, LeFevour
has rushed for 395 yards and nine scores.
"It all starts with their quarterback," said BG head coach Dave Clawson. "They stretch the
field, not only in the run game but in the passing game. They have a great plan and they do a good job
of executing it."
LeFevour is the MAC’s all-time leader in total offense (13,646 yards) and pass completions (993). He is
tied for third in MAC history in touchdown passes (88) and ranks fourth in passing yards (11,016).
LeFevour also ranks sixth in NCAA history in total offense. Among active quarterbacks, LeFevour ranks
first in total offense and completions, second in passing yards and tied for second in TD passes.
LeFevour is the only player in Bowl Subdivision (formerly Division I-A) history to pass for at least
10,000 yards and rush for at least 2,500 yards (2,630) in a career.
"The way they use him in the running game. They can really get some numbers on you," Clawson
said. "Even if you get off blocks, he is a tough guy to get down. He’s an excellent football
player.Scheme-wise, they are really well thought-out in terms of how they use him. I’m really impressed
watching him on offense."
INJURIES: Clawson said starting center Ben Bojicic (knee) is doubtful for this week. Starting left tackle
Brady Minturn and safety Keith Morgan will be evaluated later in the week.
All three were injured in BG’s win over Ball State Saturday.
ONCE MORE: For the second consecutive week, the College Football Performance Awards named BG’s Freddie
Barnes national wide receiver of the week and Sheehan honorable mention for national quarterback for
their efforts versus Ball State. Both are seniors.
The duo helped the Falcons to a 31-17 win at Ball State.
Barnes caught 10 passes for 160 yards and three touchdowns and added two carries for 12 yards in the win.

Sheehan was 28-of-41 passing for 376 yards and three scores. He completed eight throws of over 20 yards
and had Barnes and Chris Wright (six catches for 104 yards) each go over 100 yards receiving.
MAC HONORS: For the second time this fall and the seventh time in his career Sheehan has been named the
MAC East offensive player of the week.
Sheehan completed 28-of-41 passes for 376 yards and three touchdowns in the win over Ball State.
On the year, Sheehan has completed 220-of-337 passes for 2,336 yards, tops in the MAC in all three
categories. He has added 14 TD passes.
POLLS: Central Michigan gained votes in both major polls this week after defeating Western Michigan,
34-23, Saturday afternoon.
The Chippewas registered 39 points in the Associated Press balloting and 34 points in the USA Today
coaches poll. Those vote totals rank CMU 31st in the AP poll and 29th in the USA Today poll.
The Sporting News, in its weekly top 25, placed the Chippewas at No. 24.
The Chippewas’ six-game winning streak is tied for the sixth-longest streak in the country.
