FRIDAY
Visiting Instructor Alexa Woloshyn will give a performance lecture about the opera "Dialogues of the
Carmelites"  at 7 p.m. in room 211 of the Wolfe Center for the Arts before the Opera Theater’s
opening performance of the opera.
 
FRIDAY & SUNDAY
The Bowling Green Opera Theater presents Francis Poulenc’s opera "Dialogues of the Carmelites"
at 8 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Sunday in the Donnell Theatre of the Wolfe Center for the Arts. Tickets in
advance  are $15 and $5 for students or children when purchased in advance. All tickets are $20 on the
day of the performance.
SATURDAY
Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the College of Music at BGSU from 3 to 7 p.m.  with an afternoon
filled with musical performances, mingling with former classmates and professors, and enjoying a concert

MARCH 30
Members of the ensemble Decoda, a collective of virtuoso performers, entrepreneurs and arts advocates,
will perform a Music at the Forefront concert begins at 8 p.m. in the Bryan Recital Hall of the Moore
Musical Arts Center. The ensemble – Brad Balliett, bassoon, Moran Katz, clarinet, Laura Weiner, horn,
Nathan Schram, viola, and Claire Bryant, cello –  will be the premier performance of a piece composed 
by Christopher Dietz of the BGSU faculty. For more information about Decoda visit www.decodamusic.org.
The ensemble will also work with students during its three-day visit to campus.
MARCH 31
The winners of the Douglas Wayland Chamber Music Competition will perform at 7:30 p.m. at Manor House in
Toledo’s Wildwood Metropark.
 
Tuesdays at the Gish presents a screening of "Winter’s Bone" at 7:30 p.m. in the Gish Film
Theater in Hanna Hall. Jennifer Lawrence was nominated for an  Oscar for her performance as a young girl
who cares for her mother and siblings in the isolated Ozark Mountains.  Her harrowing adventure begins
when she has to find her drug-dealing father, or lose the family home he has put up as bond.
AT THE GALLERIES
The BFA Thesis Exhibition at BGSU continues through April 4 in the Dorothy Uber Bryan and Willard
Wankelman galleries of the Fine Arts Center. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through
Saturday, 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays.
