Perrysburg troupe casting ‘Shrek the Musical’
PERRYSBURG – The Perrysburg Musical Theatre will hold auditions for the summer production of "Shrek
the Musical" March 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and March 15 from noon to 4 p.m. at St. Timothy’s
Church.
Auditions are by appointment and ages 7 and older are welcomed to attend.

more details and rehearsal information will be posted on the website by February 1. Those attending
should download and complete forms prior to their scheduled audition.
"Shrek the Musical" will be performed June 25-28 at Perrysburg High School.
Old time dance in BG Saturday
An Old Time square and contra dance will be held Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Plain Congregational Church,
16011 W. Poe Road, Bowling Green.
The band will be the BGSU Roots Music Club and the caller will be Marlin Whitaker.
Tickets are $7 and $5 for students. The dance is sponsored by Northwest Ohio Music and Dance.

Baritone saxophonist goes solo in Robinwood show
TOLEDO – Baritone saxophonist Curt Oren will perform Monday at 9 p.m. Robinwood Concert House, 2564
Robinwood Ave.
The venue describes Oren’s solo set as: "Workout style circular breathing with sharp pivotal
harmonic shifts, passionate sequential storytelling via a large saxophone."
Opening will be Rosebud with "synth-based noise."
