Reva J. Johnson, 86, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away November 1, 2024.
She was born January 1, 1938 in Arlington, Ohio to the late Clarence and Amanda (Rettig) Hook. She married Carl Johnson on February 16, 1957 and he preceded her in death April 12, 2018.
Reva was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bowling Green. She loved spending time with Carl working at the family business, the Pumpkin Peddler. She was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and was disappointed when their season came to an end. She enjoyed crocheting many beautiful afghans and baking for her family. Reva also loved to play cards whether it was Skippo or Euchre.
Her greatest joy came from the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Roderick Johnson (Erika), Anthony Johnson (Sheila), Joni Huls, Carla Hartman and Daphne Milligan, all of Bowling Green, and brother Gene Hook of Holland, 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Robert Hook and Richard Hook, sister Goldie Reid, son Michael Johnson and son-in-law Michael Hartman.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 10 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 150 S. Enterprise St., Bowling Green. A Rosary service will begin Monday morning at 9:45 at the church.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
