Mark T. Broadway, 64, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Saturday October 26, 2024.
He was born on February 11, 1960, in Toledo, Ohio to Harry and Marilyn (Weibler) Broadway. He married Kim (Barton) on October 20, 1989.
Mark was an avid Notre Dame Fighting Irish fan, as well as the Detroit Tigers, Minnesota Vikings, and Bowling Green State University sports fan. A proud Liberty Center High School graduate, Class of 1979, he enjoyed keeping up with the Tigers’ football team by either going to the games or listening to the live-stream.
When his kids were young, he loved coaching their little league football, soccer and baseball teams and cheering on Haley throughout her volleyball career.
After dedicating over 30 years to the Ohio Department of Transportation, Mark enjoyed his well-earned retirement, spending his days working with his close friend Kirk at Lahey Appliance.
His greatest joy came from spending time and making memories alongside his family and his beagles.
Along with his wife, Kim, Mark is survived by his son Shane (Laura) Broadway of Maumee, Ohio and daughter Haley (Alex) Nutter of Columbus, Ohio, his brother Robert (Tina) Broadway, sister Patricia (Tim) Zorn and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Mark in death were his parents and brother, William Broadway.
A public graveside service will be held on Friday, November 22 at 11 a.m. at Roth Cemetery in Monclova, Ohio. Father Mark Davis will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be given in Mark’s honor to the Wood County Humane Society or BG Youth Baseball at Carter Park, P.O. Box 208 Bowling Green, Ohio 43402.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street.
