To the editor,
Perrysburg District School levy’s new taxes of $16,000,000 plus two revaluations of your property are two more times over the 8 year unprecidented ballot issue on November 5, 2024 until 2031. The $16 million is for wages which is 83% or $13,280,000.
This does not include all the new “Permanent Improvement” levies they WILL put on after this Operating Levy. They already have half baked plans for new construction and potential additional property purchases for new buildings that will then need more growth of Tom Hosler current empire.
These taxes are an absolute future bill for your household. Do you have plans on how you can add these costs to your family budget? What about our older heritage citizens who live in the district and those on fixed income? Jeep has released hundreds more without jobs, OI is closing, Rite Aid and Walgreens closed meaning hundreds more of jobs. How you think these families are voting? They do not have a guarantee of wages for 8 years and are almost fire proof – forsure inflation proof.
This is totally not an administration or board who listen to the majority owners of the schools. Once they fail, they will look for every reason to penalize families and their children held hostage rather than looking internally to make needed cut backs. Across the board wage cuts can balance their bucget everytime.
They operate a dictatorship only to serve their greedy lazy methods of operation. They only represent their self imposed entitlement instead of the owners of the schools; therefore I pray for the good of all citizens who must VOTE NO.
