Lima woman arrested for domestic violence

Bowling Green police responding to the 300 block of East Wooster Street Saturday observed a female bent over at the waist who appeared to be holding her head.

Shortly after 3 a.m., dispatch had advised that they received a call about the two females fighting.

The female, identified as Kiegh Macklin, 20, Lima, was seen swinging her arm in an attempt to strike the other female, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

The second female told officers that Macklin struck her during the altercation and that she only held down Macklin by her hair after being struck, according to the report.

A friend of both females told officers that he did not see the other female strike Macklin, according to the report.

Macklin admitted to officers that she slapped the other female and that the other female knows how to “push her buttons.” Macklin stated that the argument was over other males, according to the report.

Macklin stated that the other female struck her but when officers viewed surveillance footage, they found that statement false, according to the report.

Macklin was arrested for domestic violence and underage/under the influence of alcohol. She was taken to jail.
