To the editor,
We are retired educators who have lived in Bowling Green for over 25 years. Three of our children graduated from BG schools and though we no longer have children or grandchildren living in the area, we are still proud to support our local schools and teachers. There are few things in this world as valuable as education.
This levy will support the day-to-day operations of our district. That means these funds are necessary to pay our teachers and support staff, to provide transportation, and to maintain course offerings and after-school programs.
This levy is critical. We urge you to join us in voting YES FOR OUR SCHOOLS on or before Nov. 5!
