Bowling Green police were dispatched Monday to the 800 block of Scott Hamilton Avenue for a report of an unknown male knocking on the door to enter the residence.
When officers arrived around 10:30 p.m., they found the male, Justin Miller, 43, Bowling Green, sitting on the steps of the residence, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.
Miller was highly intoxicated and was uneasy on his feet. He was confused because he thought he was on Palmer Avenue and was attempting to enter his residence, according to the report.
The complainant told police that Miller knocked on the door multiple times before being told to leave.
Miller was arrested for criminal trespassing and was taken to jail.
