Betty received her bachelor’s degree from BGSU in 1973 and her master’s degree from Ashland University in 1984. She taught elementary school at Elmwood School District for 25 years. She loved her children, family and all animals. Betty was a ferocious reader and loved the outdoors, watching things grow. In the past she loved to paint pictures, jewelry and ceramics. Anything she could paint made her happy.

Betty was baptized at the Rudolph Christian Church when she was a child and still loved her church. She has left behind many good friends in Fostoria and all around Wood County, Ohio.

Please keep in mind if you would like to make a donation in Betty’s honor, she was a huge supporter of St. Jude Children’s Hospital, the Humane Society and the Rudolph Church.
