The science of God to be discussed

PERRYSBURG — Science has been advancing mankind for centuries. Scientific discoveries often bring about new understanding about the universe, ourselves and our existence.

But is there a science of God? Evidence that explains God and an understanding of God and experiences God and God’s healing power, which Jesus demonstrated centuries ago?

Christian Science lecturer Nikki O’Hagan will be discussing that topic on Thursday. During her talk, she will be sharing ideas about God, Christian Science and its healing ability.

The talk, which is free and open to all, is entitled “The Science of God and Its Power to Heal Us” will be given at 7 p.m. at the W.W. Knight Nature Preserve, 29530 White Road.

O’Hagan, a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship, experienced a time in her life when she desperately tried to find happiness and to understand the Why of life. She turned to Christian Science and found comfort, peace, happiness, harmony, health, and home in the arms of divine Love.

Through her study and practice of Christian Science, O’Hagan has experienced and witnessed many healings over the years. Her earnest desire is for all to know the transformational healing power of divine Love. Becoming a Christian Science practitioner was a natural step in fulfilling this desire.

Her talk is being sponsored by the First Church of Christ Scientist in Maumee.
