Bowling Green police were dispatched Saturday to the 1400 block of East Wooster Street for a male that was asking people to take him through the drive through.

The male was described as a white male wearing green shorts, a white shirt, and a Cleveland Indians baseball hat, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

When officers arrived around 2:55 a.m., they observed a male, John Webb, 23, Bowling Green, standing in the 100 block of South Mercer Road. While officers spoke with Webb, they observed that he had bloodshot, glassy eyes and slurred speech, according to the report.

Webb was swaying on his feet and was unable to maintain balance while standing. Officers smelled a strong alcoholic odor coming from Webb, according to the report.

The Bowling Green Fire Division responded to the scene and medically cleared Webb. Officers transported Webb to his friend’s house on the 800 block of Fifth Street. When Webb was exiting the vehicle, he was unsteady on his feet and stumbled while walking to his friend, according to the report.
