Bowling Green police took a fraud report from a man who reported an account was opened using his name and personal information.

The male presented what appeared to be a bill from Credit Corps Solutions out of Draper, Utah. The invoice advises that Credit Corps Solutions is a debt collector and that the person named on the invoice had a “Synchrony Bank Allegro Credit account,” according to the police report.

According to the invoice, a debt of $3,777.88 is owed, according to the report.

The male told police that he has never dealt with Credit Corps Solutions and he also did not have a Synchrony Bank account. When the male spoke with the representative from Synchrony Bank, he was advised to submit a fraud ticket and was awaiting a packet from the bank, according to the report.

The male also spoke with someone from Credit Corps Solutions who advised that the debt appeared to be for a loan out of California and that the application address was used from Georgia.

The male told officers that he is not out any money and that his main concern was for his personal information, according to the report.
