Camp-in-a-Box this fall

Families can visit the Wood County District Public Library for Camp-in-a-Box this fall. Camp-in-a-Box is a STEAM-focused, hour-long program designed for students ages 6 and up, designed and funded by Ohio Learns 360 and the Ohio Department of Education, and made available to WCDPL by WBGU-PBS.

Sessions are on Saturdays at 2 p.m. in the Bowling Green library Children’s Place.

Sessions include:

Sept. 14 – Nature Camp: Exploring Water

Oct. 5 – Nature Camp: Soil Science

Nov. 9 – Nature Camp: Life Cycles

Dec. 28 – Winter Fun Camp: Winter Sports

Learn how to 3D print

If you’re interested in getting started with 3D printing, the Wood County District Public Library has the course for you. Learn how to 3D print on Monday at 2 p.m. in The Learning Lab at the Bowling Green library.

This computer intermediate class will lead enthusiasts and beginners through the process of creating your own 3D printed objects at the library.

This class will demonstrate the process and will not be hands-on. Basic computer experience is recommended.
