Boardwalk replacement starts at Knight Preserve

The Wood County Park District has started a boardwalk replacement and trail maintenance project at the W.W. Knight Nature Preserve, located at 29530 White Road. Through this project, the short board walk to the west of the Nature Center will be replaced. The adjoining section of park trail leading to the boardwalk will be closed during construction. In addition, crews will resurface the stone trails throughout the park.

Park visitors should anticipate some daily trail disruptions while work is underway. This project should conclude by the end of September.
