North Baltimore man arrested for outstanding warrants

Bowling Green police were dispatched Tuesday to the 1900 block of East Gypsy Lane Road for a violation of protection order.

BGPD received a call from the North Baltimore Police Department stating that Dana Motter, 53, North Baltimore, was driving a Dodge Durango. The passenger inside the vehicle has a protection order against Motter, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

When officers arrived around 6:15 p.m., they told Motter to step out of the vehicle and placed him into custody. Motter also had five active warrants from the Wood County Sheriff’s Office for violation of protection order, according to the report.

Motter was arrested for violation of protection order and was taken to jail.
