Pemberville bicylist killed when struck by vehicle

The Wood County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal bicycle accident that happened Tuesday morning.

According to the sheriff’s office, Gary Donaldson, 78, of Pemberville, was riding on Devils Hole Road and died after being hit from behind by a vehicle.

According to the sheriff’s office, both Donaldson and the 44-year-old female driver were traveling westbound between Pemberville Road and Lemoyne Road.

The crash remains under investigation.
