Downtown fight leads to 1 arrest

Bowling Green police were completing a parking ticket Sunday in the 300 block of North Main Street when they observed a fight taking place nearby.

Around 1:07 a.m., they observed two males exchanging punches in the roadway, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

When officers approached the two males, they separated and one male, later identified as Christopher Garcia began to walk away. After a foot pursuit, Garcia was apprehended in the alleyway behind the bar, according to the report.

Christopher Garcia, 22, Lorain, was cited for disorderly conduct (fighting) and obstructing official business and was taken to jail.
