Sisters perform at Wednesday at Woodlands

PERRYSBURG — Wednesday at Woodlands lunchtime concert series continues with the Kyle White Duo.

The concert will be held Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m. at the Woodlands Park shelter area, 429 E. Boundary

Bring a chair or enjoy lunch at one of the many picnic tables Kyle White will be performing with Tamara Brescol, who happens to be her sister. The talented sisters are third generation musicians: Father Don White is a well-known banjo player in Toledo, grandfather Robert White is a Bluegrass icon, their mother is a musician as well.

Kyle White has been a prominent singer, songwriter in the area music scene for over 20 years. She has played throughout the country as well as Amsterdam, Nice, and Barcelona. She has produced several CDs, and was one of the featured musicians in the documentary “Playing Nightly” by Jason Hamilton and Mike Malone.

The duo will perform a selection of folk, rock, and bluegrass as well as original music. The sisters are known for their impeccable harmonies.
