Jeffrey Alexander Mantel, born February 18, 1972.
A beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Son and Friend. He passed away peacefully on August 8, 2024, in his Portage Ohio home under the care of Ohio Living Hospice, surrounded by his loved ones.
Jeff is survived by his wife of 26 years Lisa (Hobson) Mantel, his daughters Megan and Amanda Mantel, his parents Larry and Joan Mantel, his brothers, Aaron and Dean Mantel, and a host of other extended family and friends.
Jeff owned and operated Mantel Tree Service for over 20 years. His name was synonymous with honestly, integrity and dependability. Jeff was an active Wood County 4-H advisor for over 10 years. He was dedicated to youth development and teaching youth the skills to become productive civic minded adults.
Jeff was an active outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, hiking and camping. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.
There will be a celebration of life luncheon at the Bowling Green City Park Veterans Building, 520 Conneaut Avenue, on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 1-4 p.m. Dress is casual. We look forward to celebrating a life well lived.
