Playground heroes needed to spread mulch

Playgrounds require essential safety ground cover to keep kids safe while playing. The Wood County Park District has two playgrounds at Otsego Park and much mulch to spread, so volunteers are needed to help.

Help is needed Thursday at the park, 20000 W. River Road, with two sessions to choose from: 9-11 a.m. and noon-2 p.m.

All materials and tools will be provided, as well as an air-conditioned cooling and refreshment station.
