To the editor,
If you are still unaware of the Project 2025 conservative plan created by the Heritage Foundation for the “next conservative President,” (Trump 2.0 or another autocrat) it is time for you to do your homework before the next election. These proposals are intended to strip the rights of citizens within our democracy as they currently exist within the United State of America. This document is replete with proposals that should scare most Americans.
Considering the lack of knowledge of the proposals found within Project 2025 by the general public, it bodes ill for the continuation of our democracy.
Just one example for you to consider: Found on Page 4 & 5 is an excerpt found below of the conservative agenda from the Project 2025 Plan created by the Heritage Foundation for the “next conservative President.”
Controlling the language that will be allowed to be used within current, proposed, or passed future legislation by Congress. Which will in fact, outlaw the use of descriptive terms limiting legislation, which will actually deny your current First Amendment rights, by denying appropriate descriptive language to be used in legislation.
Read below and decide for yourself about their intent to protect you.
“The next conservative President must make the institutions of American civil society hard targets for woke culture warriors. This starts with deleting the terms sexual orientation and gender identity (“SOGI”), diversity, equity, and inclusion (“DEI”), gender, gender equality, gender equity, gender awareness, gender-sensitive, abortion, reproductive health, reproductive rights, and any other term used to deprive Americans of their First Amendment rights out of every federal rule, agency regulation, contract, grant, regulation, and piece of legislation that exists.”
Carefully exam the chosen forbidden terms. Does the intent alarm you ? If so it is time for you to become fully conversant with the total Project 2025 Plan. Then when you vote this fall, vote as thought democracy depended on your vote, because it does.
