Mary Lou Restemeyer, age 88, of Pemberville, OH, passed away on Friday August 2, 2024 at Otterbein SeniorLife, Pemberville, OH.
She was born on December 13, 1935 to Edward H. and Alice I. (Copeland) Rieman in Toledo, OH. On October 7, 1955 she married Max Restemeyer at Solomon Lutheran Church in Woodville, OH.
Mary Lou and Max celebrated over 41 years of marriage together until Max’s passing in January of 1997.
Mary Lou worked as a clerk for Pills n Packages in Woodville. She was a member of Solomon Lutheran Church. Among her many joys in life, Mary Lou really enjoyed putting puzzles together, playing bingo and cards with friends.
Mary Lou is survived by her cousin, Mary (Phil) Bodey of Woodville.
She was preceded in death by her husband Max, her parents, sons: Timothy and Dean Restemeyer.
Mary Lou will be laid to rest next to Max at a family committal service in Westwood Cemetery in Woodville. Officiating will be Pastor Alan Brown.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials take the form of contributions to: Solomon Lutheran Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
