BG man arrested for domestic violence

Bowling Green Police were dispatched Monday to the 900 block of East Wooster Street for a report of an assault.

When officers arrived around 10:39 p.m., they spoke with the alleged victim who stated that the situation happened the night prior, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

The situation happened in the 700 block of Ninth Street when Dustin Rohrs, 47, Bowling Green, got upset that the alleged victim was listening to music, according to the report.

The alleged victim told police that she and Rohrs were in a long-term relationship that was on and off.

According to the report, Rohrs began sending harassing messages to the alleged victim around 1 a.m. on Monday and then went to her apartment and used his hands to physically harm her and the artwork in the room. The victim had a large bruise on her right bicep along with a bruise to the left cheek of her face, according to the report.

Rohrs was arrested for domestic violence and was taken to jail.
