Fans packed the grandstands at the Wood County Fair on Wednesday night for Micro Wrestling Federation action, and those that were there witnessed a title change.

In the second match of a co-main event, Heavy Metal Mario, a babyface in wrestling terms, executed a pinfall of Micro Wrestling champion HotRod, setting off a celebration.

MWF, which is based out of Pigeon Forge and hosts over 400 shots a year, has been a hot ticket in town lately.

The organization recently performed at the Wood County Fairgrounds in April, and they also entertained fans at Reset in Rossford in June.

The opening match of the night featured Jamaican Jo as the heel taking on Ben Urkel, a good guy take-off of Steve Urkel.

The micro version of Urkel ultimately won via pinfall after a big chokeslam.

Next up was Gomez Jr., who was billed as the illegitimate great great grandson of Gomez Adams, taking on Micro Suave, who portrayed the bad guy.

Micro Suave, channeling his inner Eddie Guerrero, won the match via disqualification when he used Guerrero’s fake chair shot move to capture the victory.

Micro Suave, who is the real life brother of Ben Urkel, started the process by bringing a plastic yellow wet floor sign and a metal chair into the ring.

He attempted to hit Gomez Jr. with the wet floor sign, but the official grabbed it and went to set it aside.

While the official was distracted, Micro Suave tossed the metal chair to Gomez Jr., who caught it.

Meanwhile, Micro Suave feigned getting hit by the chair just before the official turned around, which caused the disqualification.

The first bout of the co-main event featured a Divas match between Lid’l Lex and Little Miss, the latter of which also emceed the matches.

Lid’l Lex won the match via pinfall, which set up the championship bout of the four-match card.

Following the action in the ring, the performers stuck around for pictures and autographs with the fans.

The MWF organization recently split into three separate groups, Micro One, Micro Too and the Microtorium of Pigeon Forge. The Micro Too group performed in BG on Wednesday.

MWF is also the subject of the Discovery Channel’s show, Big Little Brawlers.
