Charles Stein, 84, of Custar, Ohio passed away Monday afternoon, July 29,2024.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette; children, Diana (Steve) Challen; Michael (Kathy) Stein; Steven (Amy) Stein; grandson, Dan (Stacy) Challen; stepgranddaughters, Bailee Burgard; Carlee Burgard; great-granddaughter, Olivia Challen and sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Haas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Alice (Storeholder) Stein; siblings, Edwin Stein; Mary Seifert; James Stein; Patricia Stein and Marcella Clingenpeel.
A funeral mass will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 1, 2024 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Custar. Burial will be in the church cemetery and a luncheon will follow in the school basement.
Visitation is 10-11 a.m., prior to mass in the church.
The family suggests memorials to St. Louis Catholic Church.
