Carol J. (Kohring) Crawford, age 80, passed away Saturday July 27, 2024, at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green, Ohio.
She was born on May 21, 1944, in Pemberville, Ohio to the late Nelson & Caroline (Ernsthausen) Kohring. She married Melvin Crawford in Michigan on April 4, 1964, and he preceded her in passing on March 1, 2017.
Surviving is her sons James (Linda) Crawford, Lincoln, NE; Roger (Laura) Crawford, Minot, ND; and Ronald (Laurie) Crawford, McClure, Ohio; grandchildren Thomas (Heidi Squyres) Crawford, Laura Lee Cote, Taylor Crawford, Shenley (Connor) Pain, Derek Hoops; great-grandchildren Emma, AJ, Autumn, Mya, Seth, Remi, Malcolm, Navy.
Carol was proceeded in death by her loving husband Melvin Crawford; parents, Nelson & Caroline; and brothers, Ray & Dale.
Carol was a graduate of Eastwood High School and enjoyed spending her time as a homemaker and then working for Ottawa Rubber in Bradner for many years. She also liked spending time with her friends at the Wayne Senior Center playing cards, but her greatest love in life was being surrounded by her family.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne, Ohio, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Chris Walter officiating. Burial will be at Jerry City Cemetery.
