The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce has announced that the recipient of their investor grant for the second quarter of 2024 is the Children’s Resource Center.

Caroline Beachy, marketing/grant writing coordinator for the Children’s Resource Center, applied for the investor grant to supplement funds used to replace the equipment used by their case management team and intensive program provider. This role provides case management services specifically for those transitioning out of one of CRC’s crisis programs, helping to implement stabilization plans.

Because of the frequent traveling and flexibility this role requires, it is very important for staff to have the appropriate equipment when completing intakes and implementing treatment plans.

“Establishing a streamlined process for gathering client information and reviewing essential details will enhance our staff’s efficiency and create a stress-free experience for our families, providing them with the highest quality of behavioral health care,” said Beachy. “By equipping our staff with the resources they need to be successful in their roles, we can ensure that clients receive essential services to develop hope, build resilience, and discover joy in life once again.”

The quarterly investor grants are available to all investors in good standing at the chamber, and the application is available online for easy submission. The quarterly investor grant provides a chamber investor up to $1,000 that can offset the cost of an employee training program, the purchase of business-related equipment, or applied towards the offset of a BGSU/Owens student internship.

The deadline for 3rd quarter grantsubmission is Sept. 30.
