BG woman arrested for assault

Bowling Green police were dispatched Friday to the 900 block of South Main Street for a report of a dispute.

Aaryn Epson, 21, Bowling Green, was arrested for assault and was taken to jail, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

When officers arrived around 1:19 a.m., they spoke with Epson, who stated that the dispute began when she took the vehicle, without permission, of someone she was with at the time. Epson stated that the individual attacked her and ripped two of her braids out, according to the report.

Officers then spoke to the individual, who stated that they had never met Epson before the incident. The individual stated that they were attacked by Epson, according to the report.

Officers found red hair on the ground of the apartment entrance, matching the color of the individual. Epson’s hair was nowhere to be found, according to the report.
