Patrol investigates serious injury crash in Lake Twp.

MILLBURY — The Bowling Green Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a serious injury crash that occurred at the intersection of Ohio 795 and Cummings Road at approximately 5:22 p.m. Tuesday.

Ervin Kosch, 50, of Walbridge, was traveling east on Route 795 in a 2010 Toyota Corolla. Analita Clark, 24, of Toledo, was traveling west on Route 795 in a 2010 Ford Fusion.

Kosch conducted a left-hand turn from Route 795 onto Cummings Road and failed to yield for oncoming traffic. He struck Clark’s Fusion.

Clark was transported from scene by air ambulance to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Two juveniles, of Toledo, were passengers in the rear seats of the Ford.

One was transported from scene by Lake Township Police Department to Bay Park Community Hospital and then transported by air ambulance to Mercy St. Vincent where they are being treated for a serious injury.

The other juvenile was transported from scene to Bay Park by Lake Township EMS. They were then transported from Bay Park by Lake Township EMS to Mercy St. Vincent with no injuries.

Kosch was transported from scene to Bay Park by Lake Township EMS for non-life threatening injuries.

All occupants were believed to be wearing their safety belts. Impairment was not a factor in this crash.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by Lake Township Police Department, Perrysburg Township Police Department, Lake Township Fire and EMS, Life Flight, and the Ohio Department of Transportation.
