Grammy-award winning band plays Blues, Brews and Brats festival

WATERVILLE — Waterville Rotary and Third Street Cigar have again teamed up for the 9th annual Blues, Brews and Brats Festival.

The festival takes place July 27 in downtown Waterville. The show gates open at 5:30 p.m., music starts at 6 p.m.

Proceeds from this event go to Waterville Rotary which just celebrated its 96th year as is working on centennial projects for the community. The proceeds will benefit local schools through high school scholarships and Anthony Wayne Interact. Rotary also supports local food banks/Food Builds, the YMCA, Nature’s Nursery, and many other organizations/community projects.

This year’s lineup includes 2024 Grammy award winner Buckwheat Zydeco Jr.. The show will also feature The Cash Box Kings who are fresh off multiple nominations from the prestigious Blues Music Awards (BMAs). The festival will invite for the first time The Dave Keller Blues Band who has three BMA nominations for best Soul Blues Album, performing with the Dave Keller Blues Band will be joined by the legendary Johnny Rawls whose 2018 album “I am Still Around” (Third Street Cigar Records) won Best Soul Blues album of the year at the BMA awards.

General admission tickets are $20 and are available day of the show.
