Jean Elizabeth (Moyer) Burdock, 75, of Mt. Blanchard, passed away early Tuesday morning, July 2, 2024, at her residence.
She was born on January 22, 1949, to the late Snowden and Violet (Lettrell) Moyer, in Martinsburg, West Virginia. On February 11, 1984, she married Richard D. Burdock, and he survives.
In addition to her husband, Jean is survived by her daughter, Lori Friend, of Fostoria; stepdaughters, Julie Pichacz, of Findlay, and Shelley Kasch, of Jefferson, Indiana; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Anna Plott, of Fostoria; and her brothers: Snowden (Barbara) Moyer Jr., of Tuscon, Arizona, William (Irene) Moyer, of Fostoria, and Kyle Moyer, of Greensprings.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers: James Moyer, of Melmore, and Steven Moyer, of Fostoria.
Jean’s family would like to offer their gratitude and appreciation for all of Jean’s caretakers, especially those with Bridge Hospice, Dr. Cole, and the staff at the Armes Cancer Care Center.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 10 a.m. in the chapel at Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia, Ohio.
Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, 205 W. Sandusky Street, Findlay, Ohio, have been entrusted with Jean’s care.
