The Black Swamp Ice Frogs will host “Street Hockey in the Swamp” from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 28 at the In-Line Rink at Bowling Green City Park.
Organizers say there is no pressure — it is a no-scoring event “where the emphasis is on having a good time, enjoying the game and building friendships.” Everyone is welcome and bringing family members is encouraged.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own lunch and drinks will be provided. Games will run from 1-3 p.m. Participants are to bring street shoes only, no skates or roller blades, and bring a helmet if you have one. Sticks are provided and helmets are available as needed.
