ROSSFORD — Yet another business has chosen Rossford for development.

Whiteford Kenworth broke ground June 13 for construction of a state-of-the-art facility located for Interstates 80 and 75 traffic.

Spanning 73,000 square feet, the facility will feature a showroom floor showcasing the latest Kenworth trucks. A solar panel canopy will generate 58 megawatt-hours of electricity annually. The service department will include a 27,000 square-foot parts warehouse to ensure prompt service for the trucking industry. With 29 service bays equipped with a wash bay and overhead crane, downtime is minimized.

The facility is scheduled to open in mid-2025.

“This facility will provide over the road and LTL truckers with a faster and more excellent experience. Excellent design, building, employees, friends, and family are our focus,” said Kenwood President Ron Whiteford.

The modern showroom will display three new Kenworth trucks and offer amenities such as a lounge, laundry facilities, and showers for drivers during their visit.
