1 arrested for menacing at the City Pool

Bowling Green Police were dispatched Monday to the City Pool for a report of three males refusing to leave the premises.

Staff members informed police that the males had been escorted out by police a few weeks prior and were making threats against staff, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

When officers arrived around 7:11 p.m., they spoke with the staff, who stated that the males refused to leave the concession stand. One of the males, Morgan Fairley, has repeatedly caused issues at the premises and has threatened staff members, according to the report.

When officers asked Fairley if he had threatened any staff members, he said no. Fairley was then placed into handcuffs. Fairley refused to cooperate with officers, according to the report.

The second male, Jamen John, was placed in handcuffs and searched by police. John was later released, according to the report.

The third male left the scene before officers arrived, according to the report.

Fairley, 18, Bowling Green, was arrested for menacing and was taken to jail.

John, 23, Bowling Green, was trespassed and given a criminal warning for trespassing.
