BG Exchange Club to take a (seated) Boomtown Walking Tour

Do you love Bowling Green history, but don’t love standing in the wind and weather for the library’s annual walking tour?

On Tuesday, Marnie Pratt, local history librarian at Wood County District Public Library, will present an indoor (and seated) version of the Boomtown Walking Tour at the Exchange Club of Bowling Green’s lunch meeting. The presentation will feature some of the famous places and faces of Bowling Green’s Boomtown Era.

Club members or guests who have attended the walking tour in the past will find additional historical tidbits in this non-walking version of the tour.

Guests are always welcome to join club members at noon for lunch at the Bowling Green Country Club. Cost for lunch is $13 per person.

The Exchange Club of Bowling Green has been serving the community since 1946.
