The following events will take place next week at the Wood County Senior Center.

MEALS

Lunch: Monday, country fried steak or stuffed chicken breast; Tuesday, beef fajitas or turkey taco; Wednesday, spaghetti & meatballs or chicken alfredo; Thursday, cube steak or turkey; Friday, sloppy joe or salmon burger

Dinner: Tuesday, sweet and sour chicken; Wednesday, vegetable lasagna; Thurday, beef and noodles

*Dinner reservations must be made by 2 p.m. the day you wish to attend.

ADVANCED PLANNING

National Consumer Protection Week (NCPW) is just around the corner. On March 8 from 10-11 a.m., at the Wood County Senior Center will host a session focusing on ways to avoid scams, prevent identity theft, and report fraud for everyone in in your community. Speakers from the Federal Trade Commission, Office of Ohio Attorney General, Consumer Protection Office, United States Postal Inspection Service, Ohio Senior Medical Patrol, and Social Security Administration will be in attendance. No person over 60 shall be denied nutrition services because of failure to contribute all or part of the cost. Participants shall determine for themselves what they are able to contribute.
