Penny S. Stevenson, age 55, of Bloomdale, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023, in Fostoria.
She was born on June 11, 1968, in Wood County to Johnny Hartman Jr., and Susan Hartman. Penny married Howard Stevenson on April 13, 1990, in Findlay.
Surviving Penny is her loving husband, Howard; children, Desiree (Cody Deal) Stevenson of Van Buren, Marc Stevenson of Forrest, Devin (Lauren) Peach of Columbus; sister, Patti Smith of Cygnet; grandchildren, Selina & Grady; nieces and nephews, Dusty (Nick) Tolles, Sean Smith, Makayla Beckford, Dylan Smith; mother, Susan; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny; and nephew, Chance Kindle.
Penny was a 1986 graduate of Elmwood High School, and earned an associate’s degree as a Dental Assistant. She had a love for animals, and her grandchildren and family were her life. They were her greatest love in life, and she enjoyed every moment spent with them.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on February 2, 2024, at Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne, Ohio, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held on February 3, 2024, at 10 a.m.
Immediately following, a graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Findlay, with a bereavement dinner and gathering to follow at the Bloomdale Community Center.
