Wood County under winter weather advisory

The National Weather Service in Cleveland has Wood County under a winter weather advisory, which is issued when a low pressure system produces a combination of winter weather (snow, freezing rain, sleet, etc.) that present a hazard, from 7 tonight to noon Tuesday.

With this advisory, all of Wood County is in the “best chance” for up to 0.2 inches of ice.

Wood County’s emergency management office recommends monitoring local conditions before traveling on the roadways tonight and Tuesday morning.
