A warrant has been issued for a Perrysburg woman who allegedly failed to follow sex-offender guidelines.
A Wood County grand jury on Dec. 6 indicted Stephanie A. Naugle, 37, for failure to register, a second-degree felony.
On Oct. 22, she allegedly failed to provide a change of address notification or address verification as required in a previous conviction for attempted rape in 2010 in Wood County. She was classified as Tier III sex offender, which requires registration and verification requirements every 90 days for life.
The grand jury also issued indictments for:
• Andre Lamar Holmes, 45, Toledo, for tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony; and possession of cocaine, a fourth-degree felony. On June 1, he allegedly had in his possession between 5-10 grams of cocaine and was accused of altering or destroying documents with the purpose of impairing their value or availability as evidence in an investigation.
• Larisa Sandu, 24, Glen Burnie, Maryland, for theft, a fifth-degree felony. On Nov. 17, she alleged deprived Kohl’s of merchandise valued at more than $1,000.
A warrant has been issued for her arrest.
• Co-defendents Raymond Michael Edwards, 33, New Orleans, and Sammie L. Hunter, 34, Crittenden, Arkansas, each for two counts aggravated trafficking in drugs and two counts aggravated possession of drugs, all first-degree felonies. On June 22, they allegedly had in their possession and was preparing for distribution more than 100 times the bulk amount of methamphetamine.
Hunter also was indicted for illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto grounds of a specified government facility, a third-degree felony.
• Gregory Gibson, 51, Richwood, for theft and possessing criminal tools, both fifth-degree felonies. From July 28-Dec. 2, he alleged deprived Target of more than $1,000 in merchandise by using an S3 Handkey device.
• David Cabrera Cortez, 38, Hoytville, for domestic violence, a fourth-degree felony. On July 22, he allegedly attempted to cause physical harm to a family member. He previously had been convicted of domestic violence in 2007 in Hancock County.
• Johnnie William Pruitt, 44, Willard, for felonious assault, a second-degree felony. On Oct. 26, he was accused of causing serious physical harm to another man.
• Jack Evan Aiken, 21, Toledo, for failure to comply with an order or signal of a police office, a third-degree felony. On Sept. 22, he allegedly eluded or fled a police officer after receiving a signal to stop.
• Tiffanie Lynn Hartman, 46, Maumee, for grand theft, a fourth-degree felony; and telecommunications fraud, a third-degree felony. From Feb. 1-April 24, she allegedly used a scheme to defraud by telecommunication device to take more than $7,500 in property and services from another.
A nationwide warrant has been issued for her arrest.
• Andrew Justin Hollis, 24, Bowling Green, for aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. On Sept. 22, Hollis was stopped for speeding and a probable cause search of his vehicle allegedly revealed less than 100 grams of marijuana and mushrooms.
• James C. Cobb, 28, Union, Kentucky, for possession of marijuana, a third-degree felony. On March 18, he was allegedly found in possession of more than 1,000 grams of marijuana.
• Samuel Anthony Gilbert, 39, Toledo, for attempted failure to provide notice of change of address, a fourth-degree felony. From Aug. 1-Nov. 27, he allegedly failed to notify authorities of a change of address or verified his address as required when he was sentenced in 2016 in Lucas County for gross sexual imposition.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
• Co-defendents Joshua Tanner Messer, 26, Lebanon, Ohio, and Adrian Joel Plata, 30, of Franklin, Ohio, each for trafficking in marijuana and possession of marijuana, both third-degree felonies. On June 26, they allegedly were found in possession and were preparing for distribution more than 5,000 grams of marijuana. The indictment specifies forfeiture of $6,050 in currency and two iPhones.
• Robbie Ray Chasteen, 32, of Toledo and currently in jail, for strangulation, a third-degree felony; and domestic violence, a first-degree misdemeanor. On Nov. 19 in Northwood, he allegedly created the risk of serious injury to a household member by means of strangulation or suffocation.
• Candice Lynn Coates, 44, Holland, Ohio, for possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony; and illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto grounds of a specified governmental facility, a third-degree felony. On Aug. 29, she allegedly was found in possession of a substance containing cocaine and tried to take drugs into a detention facility or office.
• Andrya Mae Ibbitson, 26, Toledo, for failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony. On Nov. 20 while northbound on I-75 near Ohio 795, an officer initiated a traffic stop for no rear registration. She allegedly continued northbound, weaving in and out of traffic, and exited onto I-475 and then Monroe Street at the last minute, not allowing officers to follow. According to court paperwork, she traveled to Alexis Road and struck another vehicle near Whiteford Road, proceeded into a parking lot, turned around and headed east on Alexis Road and then north onto Whiteford Road. The vehicle came to a stop just south of State Line Road.
