BG Kiwanis topic is Kazakh music

The Bowling Green Kiwanis Club will meet Thursday at the Slater Family Ice Arena Lounge on the campus of Bowling Green State University. The public is invited to attend.

Commencing at noon, the meeting offers attendees to engage in a discussion led by Megan Rancier, associate teaching professor of ethnomusicology in the College of Musical Arts at Bowling Green State University. Rancier will delve into the captivating world of Kazakh traditional music, exploring the rich tapestry of rituals and storytelling embedded in the heart of Asia.

Lunch will be available starting at 11:30 a.m. for a nominal fee of $15.
