Boogie Woogie Kid at Owens Community College

PERRYSBURG — Owens Community College is proud to present Boogie Woogie Kid as part of the 8th annual Accent on the Arts Concert Series. Boogie Woogie Kid will be performing for free on Nov. 30 at 7:30 pm in the mainstage theatre at Owens Community College’s Center for Fine & Performing Arts.

Matt Ball (aka Boogie Woogie Kid) is a pianist, singer, and songwriter from Detroit, Michigan. He performs blues and jazz standards as well as his own original Boogie Woogie pieces. Ball is a national touring act who has garnered over 5 million views on his YouTube channel.

Accent on the Arts is a free concert series that is booked, promoted, and hosted by Owens Community College students who are part of the Music Business Technology program.

The Walter E. Terhune Art Gallery will be open beginning at 6:30 p.m., where featuring the 2023 Express Partners Faculty Art Show. 2023 Express partners include Owens Community College, The University of Toledo, and the University of Findlay.
