The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department is inviting the community to participate in the much-anticipated “Holiday Nature Crafts” program. Celebrate the joy of the holiday season by joining us at the Wintergarden/St. John’s Nature Preserve on Dec. 16 for a day of creative, nature-inspired crafting.
Choose from two sessions: 9-10:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.-noon.
This event offers an array of activities that cater to both preschool and elementary-age children ranging from 3 to 11 years old. Participants will be able to craft five unique projects that can be used to adorn their homes for the holiday season or given as heartfelt gifts to loved ones.
For those interested in attending, the program is free, but registration is required. Bowling Green residents may register starting immediately while non-residents can begin their registration on Monday.
In addition to the creative crafting stations, this program will provide treats that can be toasted over an open fire.
