PERRYSBURG — In keeping with the spirit of the fall season, The Rotary Club of Perrysburg invites everyone to its “Fall into Rotary Park” event on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. The event is open to the public with free admission and will be held at Perrysburg Rotary Community Park, 26350 Fort Meigs Road.

Fall into Rotary Park will feature a Trick or Treat trail, pumpkin and potato sack races, face and pumpkin painting, crafts, a candy apple station, donuts, cider, and hot chocolate. The Koral Hamburg Food Truck will also be on site for those who want to purchase food. Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes for trick or treating at candy stations.

“Community service is a key attribute of Rotarians around the globe, which is why we are partnering with the Islamic Food Bank Pantry at the Perrysburg Heights Community Association,” says Sherina Ohanian, Perrysburg Rotary Club president.

The club asks those who attend to support the Islamic Food Bank Pantry by bringing to the event any of the following items: Macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, jelly, peanut butter crackers, cheese crackers, single serve fruit cups, single serve oatmeal packets, Knorr pasta sides or Rice-a-Roni, and manual or electric can openers.

Perrysburg Rotary Park includes the new eight-court Pickleball Complex that has become extremely popular for people of all ages, lighted tennis courts, a covered pavilion with public restrooms, an all-inclusive playground for children, a walking/jogging track, and soccer fields.

The Perrysburg Rotary Club is a community service organization with nearly 100 members. Perrysburg Rotary is a member of Rotary International, a global network of 1.2 million volunteer leaders dedicated to tackling the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges.
